The park boasts a gross floor area of nearly 800,000 square meters and aims to serve as a new generation of smart industrial city that integrates business offices, scientific research centers, leisure and commercial spaces, talent apartments, and public facilities.
As the first benchmark demonstration park established by the YRD Investment (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in the Demonstration Zone, it leverages the core capabilities of the Shanghai Western Software Information Park. The park actively supports the innovation outreach and industrial chain expansion of the Hongqiao International Open Hub CBD and the Xicen S&T Innovation Center, positioning itself as a vibrant hub along the YRD Digital Main Line.
Yangtze River Delta Hi-Tech Park is closely aligned with Shanghai's "3+6" new industrial system, focusing on emerging tracks and future industries. Relying on the YRD Digital Main Line, the park emphasizes high-tech sectors such as digital energy, artificial intelligence, life and health, and green industry. It has begun to cultivate an industrial cluster primarily driven by the digital economy, with digital energy serving as a key highlight. Digital economy enterprises make up over 50% of the park's businesses, and more than half of the enterprises demonstrate characteristics of collaborative development within the YRD region.
