Xicen S&T Innovation Center is planned as a key construction project of the Demonstration Zone together with Water Town Parlor, Wujiang High-speed Rail New Town and Jiashan Xiangfudang Innovation Center. Located in Jinze Town, Qingpu District and falling right on Shanghai-Dianshan Lake Regional Development Axis of the Demonstration Zone, it is close to the Water Town Parlor project and the regional innovation green core around Dianshan Lake, and adjacent to Huawei Qingpu R&D Center. With a planned area of about 2.2 square kilometers, it enjoys favorable transport conditions given its proximity to G50 Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway and rail transit line 17 (Xichen station of its West Extension Line). Xicen S&T Innovation Center is blessed with abundant natural green resources typical of the watery south of China. Envisaged as an industrial innovation zone integrating R&D, commercial services and community life, it will become a model of world-class S&T Innovation town, a convergence of talents in the Demonstration Zone, and a benchmark of innovative shared green community in the YRD region.
